Furstenberg Nature Area was acquired by the city in 1971 to preserve and protect the Huron River valley. Extensive work has been done to restore the healthy oak savanna here. Help NAP maintain and expand the quality natural areas here by fending off invasive plants. Meet at the parking lot off Fuller Road. Volunteers will use their hands to pull small-to-medium plants from the ground. Workday sites have unpaved trails and require going off-trail.
