Take a hike with ISN Coordinator Audrey Menninga to learn to identify woody invasive species. Early spring is a perfect time to see them, as these species tend to leaf out earlier than native species! Plan to meet at the trailhead for Orchard Beach State Park’s trail system, located on the east side of M-22. Overflow parking can be found at Orchard Beach, located next to the stone building to the north of the campground.
If you’re interested in joining us for this event, we highly recommend that you register, as weather may change our plans. Please remember to dress for the weather as well! Register on our website at www.HabitatMatters.org/Events or by emailing Audrey at amenninga@gtcd.org.
