Tuesday, September 12th, 2023
6-7pm
County Farm Park – Medford Pavilion
(Medford Pavilion is located on the west side of County Farm Park off of Medford Road, NOT the Platt Road entrance)
This month’s topic: Native pollinators and assessing insect communities
Who are those pollinators in your park or backyard? How do you support them? What other insects are hidden in an ecosystem and how can you know if they are there? We’ll discuss whatever is of interest related to pollinators and native insects, and practice some simple ways to assess the insect life within an ecosystem.
Host: Sheila Schueller, Teaching faculty in the UM School for Environment and Sustainability
