Our March Stewardship event will be a spring clean up and litter removal at Irwin Prairie State Nature Preserve. We’ll be working with DNAP staff to help collect litter along the roadways of the preserve. Please bring your own gloves and wear knee high rubber boots to meander on the prairie side of the ditch where trash collects from floodwaters and wind. Trash grabbers and bags will be provided for volunteers.

We’ll meet on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irwin Prairie parking lot.

The address to Irwin Prairie is 9987 W. Bancroft St., Holland OH 43528. There are no on-site restrooms, but Secor Metropark is close by.

Anyone registering for this event will also need to sign the attached ODNR volunteer form. The form is good for the year, so you can skip this step if you’ve already volunteered. The form can be electronically filled out, saved, and emailed to Maureen at: Maureen.Bogdanski@dnr.ohio.gov

There will be some printed out forms available at Irwin Prairie.
