Join us for a very special edition of our weekly Wild Friday field sessions! Dr. David Lowenstein, Consumer Horticulture Educator and entomologist, MSU Extension, will discuss and demonstrate different methods of sampling and searching for insects and the different types of habitats and lifestyles of insects (detritivore, herbivore, predator). Participants will gain an understanding of how the various trap types can be used to study and monitor different types of insects.

Three MDARD pesticide applicator recertification credits are available in categories 2, 3B, 6, or CORE. Three Extension Master Gardener education hours are also available.
