Stewardship Workday at LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve

As a follow up to our annual Winter Walkabout, we'll be helping maintain the historic LeFurge Woods by removing invasive species.

Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 from 1 – 4 pm

Meet at: LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve Parking Lot
Prospect Road, Superior Township, MI 48198
(located between Geddes and Vreeland)

We will be using hand tools and herbicide to cut and treat invasive species adjacent to the high-quality LeFurge Woods. Dress to be outside in cold, wet conditions – in layers and waterproof clothing. SMLC will provide tools, work gloves (non-insulated), water and snacks. We will meet at the parking lot and hike to the work site.
