The Science, Practice & Art of Restoring Native Ecosystems Conference Student Scholarship Application

We believe it is important for all voices to be included in conversations about caring for the land and water we love. Too often, funding is the greatest obstacle students face when seeking opportunities for professional development. To ameliorate this issue, The Stewardship Network has created a scholarship fund to assist students in attending our annual conference.

By attending the conference, students gain access to

  • Over 50 educational presentations
  • Networking opportunities with more than 400 professionals from around the country
  • The chance to share their research through the Student Poster Competition
  • All meals are included with registration

Actively enrolled students can apply for the scholarship below. Support will be awarded on a rolling basis, and if funding is not immediately available, students will be added to a waitlist. Students receiving assistance will be notified immediately via email.

Students are required to accept or reject the scholarship within a week of receiving the notification email. If we don't hear from you, funding will be awarded to the next person on the waitlist. Accepting a scholarship does not automatically register you for the conference. You will be given a unique discount code that may be used when you register yourself.

Students who apply before the early bird deadline and are not awarded a scholarship will be able to register at the early bird rate. Please note: Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively. (A refund will not be issued if you already registered)

As a condition of receiving the scholarship, TSN asks that you write a short reflection of your conference experience after attending.
