P.J. Hoffmaster State Park Garlic Mustard Pull

Join us in the fight against invasive garlic mustard at this popular lakeside park with Volunteer Steward Beth W.! We need your help to continue reclaiming these habitats for our native plants and wildflowers! No experience is necessary but do plan to work off trail and do some climbing. Meet in the parking area in front of the Gillette Nature Center. Please arrive on time as we will be hiking to the work location.

Volunteer stewards will search the dunes along the popular and beautiful Homestead Trail with Volunteer Steward Beth W.! Pulling garlic mustard is like weeding and is an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon in the woods. We will be working off trail so plan to wear sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves are recommended. Meet in the parking area in front of the Gillette Nature Center. Please arrive on time as we will be hiking to the work location.
