Impact
The Stewardship Network (TSN) operates as an applied impact network, in which TSN (a 501(c)3) aligns and stewards resources for community ecological impact. We provide an efficient backbone support and technology system – coordinated leadership, operational framework, communications/engagement platform, and financial/administrative services – to Member Communities and collaborative projects across the nation. The Network approach builds inclusivity and diversity into land stewardship efforts, while increasing visibility and reach of local land-based community organizations. To that end, TSN embraces the unique backbone supporting role collective impact organizations play in eliciting large-scale change through aligned effort.
The Stewardship Network makes collaborative conservation accessible to every community – empowering stewards from all walks of life and experience levels to collectively care for our environment. To that end, we engage a diverse network of individuals and organizations to align impact and re-imagine solutions to the pressing ecological issues of our time:
- Land stewardship & ecological health
- Invasive species management & early detection and response (EDR)
- Habitat management, biological diversity, and landscape connectivity
- Water quality and watershed restoration
- Regenerative and local agricultural food ecosystems
- Forest stewardship, climate change, carbon sequestration credits
- Community engagement, development, and impact funding
- Strategic development, facilitation, and leadership
