Winter Tree Walk

Enjoy the tranquility of the forest in winter as you learn to identify common neighborhood trees. Join your guide, Jon Genereaux, as he explains what bark is, how to identify trees in winter, and so much more. An indoor presentation will be followed by a fun and informative walk around Hidden Lake. Please dress for the weather and plan to be walking outdoors for one hour. This is an enjoyable class for a family (although not suitable for very young children). Registration is required - call 517-431-2060 to register.

INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL AND INCORPORATING NATIVE PLANTS INTO YOUR LANDSCAPE

Courtney Bailey master gardener and co-owner of Summit landscape and Garden Center presents "Invasive Plant Removal and Incorporating Native Plants into Your Landscape." She will discuss ID and removal of invasives and using natives in a groomed landscape with a focus on pollinator-friendly gardening practices.

Meetings will begin with a social time at 6:30 PM with short meeting and program at 7:00 PM.

Bring recyclables (magazines, feeders, feeders, etc.) to the program.
