Gordon Fitch
Gordon is a PhD student at UM, studying how human land use - particularly agriculture and urbanization - affects interactions between plants and pollinators. His research takes him to community gardens across southeast Michigan, as well as coffee farms in southern Mexico. He has previously worked as a community organizer and middle school science teacher, and is passionate about promoting scientific literacy and interest in the natural world.
