2022 Wild Parsnip Pull #1

Wild Parsnip, an invasive plant, is a public health concern. Touching this plant without protective gear can cause a painful rash and blistering. We need your help to protect our community!
Please join us along the Waabizheshikana “Marten Trail” to slow the spread of this tenacious plant. The 1st pull/dig will be June 27th meeting at the Spirit Cove Homeowners Association dock (GPS: 46.717187, -92.192573) and working our way along the trail.
The 2nd event July 7th we will be meeting at the Bayhill Dr. Trailhead near the pumphouse.
Dress for the weather & wear protective long sleeves, & pants. Gloves, tools & instruction will be provided. Rain or shine! Canceled if lightning.
