Huron Arbor Cluster Co-Coordinator
Michael Benham’s involvement in stewardship issues is part-time, when he is not occupied with public transportation matters. Michael works “days” for the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) doing project management and strategic planning. His interest in ecology began at an early age when the fields near his home in the Chicago area up were still populated by wildlife and freshwater creeks and ponds. Watching those slowly succumb to development gave him an appreciation for the need to preserve and restore. Today, his own experiments with restoration convince him that education and information sharing are essential to preserve and restore effectively.
