The Emerging Western Lake Erie Cluster

The Emerging Western Lake Erie Cluster is one of our newest clusters!  Our mission is to expand individuals' and organizations' capacities to care for and protect natural lands and waters, and we're doing just that every day. As a result, we're expanding, and individuals from Monroe County have been looking to focus on issues specific to the Lake Erie shoreline.  So if you're from the Southeast corner of Michigan, or the Erie shoreline area of Ohio, join in - we're doing great work!

If you're interested in getting involved or learning more, contact staff@stewardshipnetwork.org today!

Exploratory Meeting
Wednesday,
July 28 2010 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Location: Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Preserve Metropark (4830 West Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43615).

On May 12th, we met with folks representing a number of different organizations as well as individual stewards to discuss forming a Stewardship Network Cluster in Monroe county, MI. While the Network has previously been based out of Michigan, we have been approached in the past about forming a Cluster around the Toledo area in Ohio. Given the proximity of these two areas, we have the opportunity to form a cohesive Cluster. We'll be holding a second meeting on July 28th at Wildwood Preserve Metropark in Toledo to explore this possibility and the stewardship needs of that area.

You are invited to join us! We'll be discussing the need for this Emerging Cluster and your opportunity to be involved. Your input will be invaluable to forming this Cluster. Let us know if you plan to attend!
