The Stewardship Network and the Midwest Land Trust Alliance partner this year to bring you two great days of informative talks and workshops that will focus on Stewardship and A Sense of Place. Deep local knowledge of Place is an invaluable resource for understanding our role caring for natural lands and waters and how our work relates to regional, national and global events. We're interested in hearing about your research and experience of the relationship between people and the land they work to protect.

Poster Presentations: Abstracts are invited from all topics including although not limited to ecological restoration, including prescribed fire, successful partnerships, policy innovations, and economics.  Presenters chosed as posters will have their posters displayed in an exhibit during the Friday program.  Please note that poster presenters will not be compensated for their conference registration.

Student Poster Competition: A $100 prize will be given to the first place winner for the student poster competition.  Judging will take place on site during the Poster Exhibit at the 2011 Conference and will be conducted by various experienced members of the natural areas management community.
