Thank you to all who participated in the 2008 Stewardship Network
Garlic Mustard Challenge!
Not only were the efforts of large volunteer groups reporting thousands of pounds responsible for reaching this goal, but also the efforts of individuals pulling one small kitchen-sized bag of Garlic Mustard at a time. This is evidence that every little effort, however seemingly small, DOES in fact make a difference!

Way to go!! Thank you to all that participated in The Stewardship Network's 2008 Garlic Mustard Challenge! All of those hours in the sun, mud, and amongst the poison ivy and mosquitoes have paid off in the war against invasives-- we pulled our goal of 100,000 pounds of Garlic Mustard PLUS another 28,000 pounds!
Now that the Garlic Mustard Challenge is over, do you want to learn more about other Michigan invasives? Use the Stewardship Network's Online Searchable Events Calendar to find a training or workshop dealing further with invasivses-- or search the calendar for any one of a wide range of future events dealing with the care of our natural lands and waters.
