Grand-Raisin Cluster Coordinator
Monica is a private landowner working to restore nine acres of rolling mesic and wet woods in Tompkins Township, Jackson County Michigan. She has experience in watershed management, benthic macroinvertabrate stream quality monitoring, nature education, prescribed burns, fundraising, grants, and community engagement. She has a Master’s in Resource Development from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s in Ecology from Knox College and is a Great Lakes Leadership Academy alum. Her husband and two young children enjoy spending weekends and holidays with her rustic camping around Michigan’s many State Parks and Recreation areas.
