Kristi joined Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM) as Chief Digital Officer in 2012, helping to shape a world-class consumer engagement agency – combining digital, CRM, social, mobile and analytics practices, grounded in Meredith's unsurpassed expertise in content. Formerly CEO of Publicis & Hal Riney and Publicis Modem in San Francisco, her experience includes leading a regional network for TBWA Worldwide, as U.S. President of digital agency TEQUILA\, as well as Managing Director tenures at Omnicom's Direct Partners, and Draft Worldwide. She has served on the global leadership committees of TBWA and TEQUILA\, and on the Executive Board of TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles. Her multi-faceted background has led to roles on global marketing teams for Nissan, Infiniti, Sony and Pioneer, with category expertise spanning automotive, CPG, consumer electronics, financial services, entertainment, pharma and fashion. Kristi works with a number of universities, as well as the American Association of Advertising Agencies, on integrated marketing education programs, and is a frequent speaker on the influence of technology on culture and consumer behavior. Kristi earned her M.B.A. from DePaul University’s Kellstadt School of Business in Chicago, and undergraduate degrees in Advertising Management from DePaul University, and Technical Illustration/Commercial Art from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She served on the board of directors of NeoEdge, a technology company specializing in ad-enabled casual gaming, and on the advisory board for Involver (acquired by Oracle), which develops applications for marketers across the major social platforms. She also acts as a mentor for the start-up accelerator StartEngine, providing strategic consulting to Los Angeles-based technology entrepreneurs. Kristi is an advisor and contributor to DAME magazine (www.damemagazine.com), and currently serves on the Boards of Directors of thinkLA and the American Lung Association in California.
